The Nixa High School band program gives students a place to grow as musicians and as people — from the competitive marching field to the concert hall and the jazz stage.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Nixa Public Schools Band Program has a mission to serve as a student-centered, co-curricular activity that maintains a commitment to providing an opportunity to excel at an instrument for any and all students who wish to make such a commitment. This is achieved by ensuring student success and retention within the program through quality instruction, assessment, and teamwork; elevating performance quality through individual and group reflection and growth; performing and competing at local, state, and national events, with continual development toward the standards set by each level; inspiring and nurturing strong parental involvement; serving as a source of pride for our community; and igniting a lifelong enjoyment of music.
The Crimson Corps
Our 240-member marching band and four-time Ozarko champion competes at Missouri’s highest levels and represents our community with pride at every performance.
